In 1992, John O’Brien saw a clear need for more professional pool care. He founded Poolwerx in Brisbane, Australia, introducing branded vehicles, uniforms and trained technicians to help lift industry standards. Built one client at a time through quality service, trust and hard work, Poolwerx quickly grew from a local Brisbane business into a leading pool care brand. More than three decades later, Poolwerx’s core values remain the same. Today, Poolwerx is the largest pool care franchise brand in the world, and for those considering joining the Poolwerx family, the opportunity remains strong. Demand for reliable, professional pool care continues to grow.

The company expanded to multiple locations and eventually franchised, becoming the largest pool, hot tub, and spa retail and maintenance network in Australia and New Zealand.
